This text is MAYERA Medical Journal's, word for word as on mayeramj.com. MMJ is currently MAYERA Ink's only journal.
Appeals and complaints are assessed fairly, confidentially where possible, and without retaliation.
Appeals
Authors may appeal an editorial decision when they believe there has been a significant factual error, material procedural irregularity, undisclosed conflict, or serious misunderstanding of the manuscript. Disagreement with an editorial judgement alone may not be sufficient.
Appeals should identify the decision, provide concise grounds, and point to relevant evidence. Where practicable, the appeal should be assessed by an editor who was not responsible for the original decision and who has no relevant conflict.
Complaints
Complaints may concern editorial conduct, reviewer conduct, publication practices, fees, conflicts of interest, research ethics, administration, or other journal processes. Complaints are assessed fairly, confidentially where possible, and without retaliation.
Research-integrity concerns should be sent to ethics@mayeramj.com. Appeals and general complaints may be sent to appeals@mayeramj.com. Publisher-related complaints require an independent route and must not be decided solely by the person who is the subject of the complaint.
The journal will acknowledge and assess submissions as resources permit.
